Residents of Kyenkyenase, a farming community in the Dormaa East District of the Bono Region have been left speechless after a 64 years old woman clubbed her 100-year-old husband to death.

According to reports in the local media, the two were involved in a heated argument that got the wife of the man Nyamba Ayenliwuli infuriated.
Nyamba AyenlÍwuli is said to have picked a pestle and clubbed her husband Aponwuni Ayenliwuli leaving him unconscious.
Aponwuni Ayenliwuli later died on arrival at the Dormaa Presbyterian Hospital. The Wamfie District Police Commander Frank Asante confirmed the story indicating that the Police are still investigating the matter while the suspect is in custody
