Covid-19 Vaccines: 350,000 doses arrive in Ghana

AstraZeneca Vaccine

Following quite a while of misgiving over the destiny of Ghana’s COVID-19 immunization program, the activity looks set to continue as 350,000 dosages of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccines arrived in Accra on Friday morning.

It showed up around 5am, May 7, on board a Turkish Airline to launch the second phase of the cross country immunization.

Fears that the program could be kept down elevated when the second group of dosages from the COVID-19 Vaccine Global Access Facility (COVAX) office, anticipated from India, were not approaching.

This sent people talking and kept citizens who got the primary shot over two months prior stuck.

The 350,000 dosages of vaccines are an expansion to the 600,000 portions of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 immunization Ghana received on February 24, this year.

As of now, Ghana has immunized around 850,000
