GA Traditional Council announces ban on drumming over the celebration of Homowo

Homowo Celebration

The Ga traditional council has announced 30 days Ban of drumming and noise making as the preparation towards the celebration of Homowo festival begins.

The Spokesperson for Kwabenya Traditional Council who doubles as the Kwabenya Musuku Mantse Nii Mensah Dza Nyumor I in an interview with Kingdom fm’s Okogyeabour Ocran said, the Ban of Drumming and Noise making begun yesterday 3rd May, 2021 and will end on 3rd June, 2021.

The Council has entreated every Body within the Greater Accra Jurisdiction to respect their order and cope with their directives until the stipulated 30days end.

They have therefore cautioned accordingly if any body goes contrary to this order will find him/herself in trouble.

Prior to this development, the Ga traditional council has given 2weeks ultimatum to Evangelist Diana Asamoah to openly come and retract her loose comment on Homowo.

According to them, Diana Asamoah’s comment downplays the image of the Ga traditional council so if she refuse to retract and apologize, they won’t share boarders with her on their lands.
It will be recalled that, Evangelist Diana Asamoah in a week ago in a video has encouraged Nana Agradaa to stand firm as an evangelist and join her to Clampdown the celebration of Homowo festival.

This comment according to Nananom sounds insulting and it will be her interest to retract otherwise, she will have a taste of her own drugs on their lands…

Nii Mensah Dza Nyumor I on behalf of the Ga traditional council has reiterated his appeal to all manner of persons living on their lands to respect the principles of their highly sensitive festival in order not to fall in the webs.
