God Shall Restore Our Economic Fortunes – Nana Addo tells naysayers

The president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has given the strongest indication yet that despite the economic infractions currently surfacing in Ghana, he does not believe that things will remain the same because he believes in a God who does wonders when the doom sayers become like the number of the sand on earth.

According to the president, he knows that things are not picking up the way many people are expecting it to be but very soon, our God that he worships, will change our bad story for good that is going to silence the naysayers of the country Ghana.

Ghana has been faced with severe austerities under his administration intended by reckless spending and misappropriation of state resources that are even scarce but those entrusted with the fate of the country, continue to share the wealth of the nation amongst themselves because they share the same ideology.

Ghanaian people have been complaining bitterly that the manner in which things are happening in the country, they are concluding that things have fallen apart because there is no tangible justification that things are going to be well with the country and the citizens as a whole in the near foreseeable future.

The former president John Dramani Mahama too has been on the neck of this very government blaming it for inheriting large quantum of resources left behind by his erstwhile administration but this current government came and mismanaged them without any accountability thus causing financial losses to many businesses and their workers.

Due to the falling standard of the local currency, the governor of the Bank Of Ghana, has also restricted other indigenous banks and foreign entities from opening new foreign currency accounts for customers without written express permission from the authorities assigned to regulate and clean up the banking sector as a desperate measure to maintaining and arresting the falling standard of the local currency which is still in a state of emergency exercise.

As a result of the finance challenges in the nation, cost of living and doing business has been on the fast deteriorating situation as workers oppose vehemently the hardships being incurred by this failing economy on their individual lives which hinders them from saving towards their welfare development.

Government recently declared that it intended to seek for a financial support from the International Monetary Fund, IMF so as to undertake some developmental projects in other parts of the country because there is no enough financial resource available in the coffers of the state hence their decision to send a delegation to request for financial bailouts from the authorities of International Monetary Fund.
