How 12 Inmates Pour Hot Porridge On Police To Broke Out Of Accra Police Cell

12 suspects are on the run after a violent jail break at the Zenu-Atadeka police station located in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality at about 6:40am on Monday, April 5,2021.

According to a police reports, the unfortunate incident occurred when the Sergeant went to put another suspect inside the cell, the inmate poured the hot porridge which had been served to them around 6:40 am in his face and this enabled the others pushed the iron gate open to escape.

Sources says,the remand prisoners are being investigated for various offences including robbery and stealing.

All the 12 remand prisoners have been identified as Basit Sulemana, Richard Remeo, Ibrahim Adams, Sumaila Karim, Musah Ali, Musah Ibrahim, Sulemana Ibrahim, Abu Sadique, Mubarak Seiti, Ibrahim Fuseini, Aziz Fuseini and Amish Akorli.

However, one out of the culprits, Ibrahim Adams was re-arrested at his hideout at Kubekro No. 2.

The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has been informed and a serious manhunt has been launched to recapture the remaining fugitives.
