KNUST first class economics female graduate now sprays cars for daily bread

Ghanaian YouTuber Quoo Fante recently revealed the heart-wrenching story of Francisca Amoah, a first-class graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Despite her impressive qualifications, Francisca struggled to secure a job after completing her national service at the Ghana Lands Commission.

With no other options available to her, Francisca turned to the family business: car spraying. She spent a year learning the ins and outs of the trade, and now works in her father’s garage to make ends meet. Quoo Fante shared her story on his YouTube channel to shed light on her struggles and showcase her resilience.

In her interview with Quoo Fante, Francisca provided advice to young graduates who are struggling to find work. She encouraged them to not be fixated on securing a white-collar job, but rather to consider learning a skill or craft with their hands that could serve as a source of income.

Her story serves as a reminder of the harsh realities that many new graduates face and the importance of having a backup plan.
