Kofi Osafo-Maafo, Assigned New Deputy For SSNIT By President Akufo-Addo

His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, has stripped Dr.John Ofori Tenkorang off his duties as the Director General for SSNIT and has appointed Kofi Bosompem Osafo-Maafo, the son of Yaw Osafo-Maafo.

According to sources within the presidency relayed to Ghbuzznews.com, there were other laid off individuals like Pearl Nana Ama Darko, the Deputy Director General for Operations and Benefits, who has been given a new role in the Ghana Revenue Authority(GRA) as the Commissioner for Support Services.

Juliana Kpedekpo has also been appointed as the new Deputy Director General for Operations and Benefits.

It is believed that President Akufo-Addo will appoint a new Deputy for Investment and Development in due course.

These series of changes in government began since Wednesday, February 14, 2024, which includes the replacing and swapping of some ministers, in the Upper East and Upper West Regions — the current government have implemented these changes in order to effect efficiency in all sectors nationwide.
