Social media users are reacting differently after the judge presiding over the case of social media influencer Akuapem Poloo passed judgment earlier today that she is to serves 90 days in jail for I) First count of publication of obscene material. ii) Second count of engaging I domestic violence, a conduct in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity. iii) Third count of domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.

CHILD RIGHTS INTERNATIONAL reported her in their quest to protect the child, now she’s going to spend 90 days in jail. A single mother who’s the sole guardian of this child. Now how is this in the interest of the child?? I’m not necessarily implying that the law shouldn’t have its way BUT in a country where where non-custodial sentences are usually not an option this is what happens.
