Messi gifts 35 gold-plated iPhone 14s to Argentina team and staff for winning the World Cup

After Argentina won the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, Messi from Paris Saint-Lionel Germain will give the entire Argentina team and staff 35 gold-plated iPhone 14s as gifts.

With seven goals, including two in that legendary final match against France, the brilliant number 10 led his nation to its third world championship.

The 35-year-old wants to express his gratitude to his teammates for helping him realize a dream he had for a long time. Their support has helped him win individual awards that have helped him establish his place among the greats and be hailed as the best player in the world.

According to Roy Nemer, Messi has teamed up with iDesign Gold to present all of his teammates and Argentina’s coaching staff with 24-carat Apple devices in recognition of their role in winning the World Cup after five attempts.

As a result, he got in touch with Ben Lyons, CEO of IDESIGN Gold, a service for customizing smartphones.

“Lionel is not only the Goat but he’s one of IDESIGN GOLD’s most loyal customers and got in touch with us a couple of months after the World Cup final,” Lyons said, explaining further how the two finalised the glittery Apple order.

“He said he wanted a special gift for all the players and staff to celebrate the amazing win but didn’t want the usual gift of watches. “So, I suggested gold iPhones inscribed with their names and he loved the idea.”

Photos of the aurous Messi gift have since emerged on the internet, catching the fascination of many of the football star’s fans.
