The National Football Team of Nigeria, The Super Eagles of Nigeria, has apologised profoundly to the football federation and Nigerians at large.
The team has taken the bold step to render an unqualified apology to Nigerians after their embarrassing defeat meted out to their players as the Black Stars Of Ghana crashed them to the wheel in a humiliated manner during the last match playoffs encounter which resulted in 1-1 goal appease in favour of Ghana in preparation towards world cup- Qatar.
The team is seeking forgiveness from everyone in Nigeria not to throw the dirty water away with the child. The Nigeria football fans took to the pitch after the final whistle was blown by the referee and vandalised valuables available on the ground in protest against their humbling disastrous defeat.
As they thronged onto the football park in multitudes, some attempted and stole the Video Assistant Referee, VAR machine mounted visibly to monitor the proceedings on the field. The team is now apologising like a child who realises of his mistakes after a whole week of losing a national match.
It was quite shameful and lugubrious how Nigerians conducted themselves on their own home soil when they were wounded by the Black Stars of Ghana.
