The well known Ghanaian Tik Tok content creator, Kelvin Sampene popularly known as Akonoba has finally come out to speak about his involvement in cross-dressing on set.
In an interview with Emilia Brobbey on the Okukuseku show, the Tik Tok star who pulls over a million followers revealed that his intensions wearing makeups and dressing like a woman on social media is to woo his fans with the comic feminine appearances and end up attracting more followers.

And so, his content creation style is purely business motivated and has nothing to do with his personality and/or desire to be feminine. He continued to shed more light on his journey into stardom and debunked certain misconceptions of the public surrounding his career.
He spoke in these words: “People think I feel good about wearing makeups and female clothes to purposely advertise brands, but to me it isn’t pleasant.”
He confessed thus, “initially it was difficult to for me adjusting to the demands of the role, but the financial rewards made it enticing enough to embrace the challenge, ignoring the negatives. Why? Because, this is what I lived from and wouldn’t allow anyone write me down on this.”.
