The results of the 2022 BECE examinations will be made public hopefully by Thursday, 19th January, 2023.
This is according to the ministry of education’s Public Relations Officer, Kwasi Kwarteng. He disclosed this disclosure in an interview on Joy News, Friday.
He said; our checks with the West African Examination Council, WAEC, showed that hopefully by Thursday, 19th January, 2023, the BECE examinations results will be released.
He further added that the ministry is keen on making sure that the first year students commence classes early.
Therefore after the results are released, the students will be allocated into their various secondary respective schools a little earlier than it had been done in last year.
According to him, this year, the placement would be quite easier. Instead of March, we are looking at February so that students can get to quit earlier.
Mr. Kwarteng added. He also indicated by advising 2022 BECE candidates to check online so as to view their school placements after the results have been released and he shared that, there would be a manual provision in place for students who do not have the opportunity to verify through the online processes.
But currently, the good news is that, students can now go on the internet and check their provisional BECE examinations results before the official and certified ones are finally released on Thursday, 19th January, 2023.
