Wanlov The Kubolor holds that parents should respect their children’s sexual inclinations and refrain from passing judgment on them.
He made this statement in reference to the assistance his 11-year-old daughter, who is in love with another girl, claims to receive from him.
Wanlov claims that regardless of how the immediate society reacts, he sees nothing wrong with that and readily supports her choice to be attracted to the same sex.
“I have a daughter who is currently infatuated with another girl. I don’t see anything wrong with that. She likes this girl, and that’s what her mother told me. She is eleven,”
Wanlov has openly expressed his indulgence for the LGBTQ community’s actions in Ghana and has been a supporter of their legalization.
He feels that it is important to discourage the unjust treatment of those who identify differently. And according to him, it all began when parents encouraged their kids’ sexual exploration while embracing their own sexual development.
