When Prophet Kumchacha is elected President of Ghana, he promises to revoke the New Patriotic Party’s free education policy.
The free Senior High School program, according to Kumchacha, who has declared his desire to run for President in 2024, is a significant financial burden on the government and forces it to request assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
He declared that every parent or guardian would be required to pay school fees under his rule.
“I will cancel free education. I will cancel free education because it has locked up money, so it always makes government suffer…When I come into power, the free education will no longer exist; every person will pay school fees”, he revealed on Saturday during UTV’s “United Showbiz”.
Prophet Kumchacha continued to share his manifesto on the program, saying that he will also see to it that no tenant is charged a 6-month or 2-year fee, but rather that rent is paid on a monthly basis.
Prophet Kumchacha designated his group as the Kum People’s Party (KPP) and stated that he is more than ready to challenge the opposition parties in the 2024 elections.
He continued by saying he will soon announce his running mate and launch a determined campaign to win the general elections in the next year.
