The latest that Ghana’s rap scene may witness is the one that Amerado started when he entered the stage on DJ Slim’s “In The Booth” rap freestyle show. The scene is recognized for its competitive attitude and lyrical sparring.
Amerado, a gifted and unashamedly outspoken rapper from Ghana, has gained the stage by criticizing Medikal, the rapper for AMG Business.
Over the years, the Ghanaian hip-hop scene has had its fair share of lyrical disputes, and Amerado has never been afraid to voice his beliefs through his music.
Amerado, who is well-known for his smart wordplay and punchlines, has charmed audiences with his ability to deftly incorporate social commentary and his own experiences into his rhymes.
Amerado made the decision to raise eyebrows on the most recent episode of DJ Slim’s “In The Booth” program by drawing a pointed line directly at Medikal.
Amerado wondered if Medikal had changed from being a rapper to pursuing a profession in graphic design as he flowed seamlessly over the track. “Medikal, are you now a graphic designer, or are you still rappin’?” was a well-timed punch that got people’s attention and got them speculating about the song’s meaning.
