After her family refused to attend her wedding, a South African woman took to Tiktok to express her gratitude to her sister for going.
The woman, known only as Piinkybae, displayed pictures of her sister standing beside her as they both took wedding photos in spite of the fact that her family did not support her because her husband would not pay the bride price.
“To those who came to my wedding, even though no lobola (bride price) was paid, and the rest of the family refused to attend.” She wrote a caption for the footage.
“He should have paid something nje even 1k and pay the rest later nothing zero hai, that’s disrespectful,”.
