Ghanaian music sensation, Eugene Marfo, known as Kuami Eugene, is reported to suffered fatal injuries, after his Range Rover got involved in a headlong crash with a huge tipper truck.
According to a reporter for Ghbuzznews.com, the accident ensued around 11:30pm, on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at CP, close to DSTV — after Achimota Overhead, moving towards the Dzorwulu traffic light.
The ‘Hello Monica‘ hit-maker in the company of a male companion have been rushed to the University of Ghana Medical Center, where they are both responding to medical attention.
Another eyewitness and editor for ModernGhana by name, Ajartor confirmed he had seen everything.
“I was behind them so I stopped my car and rushed to help them out. That was when I realized it was Kuami Eugene. He had a broken wrist and a deep cut on his right hand.”
The incident has been reported to the authorities at the Achimota Police Station, who have affirmed to look into the whole matter, as the tipper truck driver is nowhere to be found.
