Jamaican dancehall artiste Grace Latoya Hamilton, also known as Queen Spice, has visited Ghana, West Africa.
On November 14, 2024, late on a Thursday night, Queen Spice landed at Accra’s Kotoka International Airport. She showed up wearing a stunning all-blue Graci Noir outfit from her own clothing line, which included a matching bag and white sneakers.
She celebrated by taking photos with airport staff after being warmly welcomed by a group of ardent supporters at the airport entrance.
Spice will work with Stonebwoy on a music video for their song “Whine & Jiggle,” which is from their “Up & Running” album, during her first trip to Ghana.
I don’t think I’ve ever been this eager to travel or visit a place before, so I’m really excited. I’ve never been to Ghana before, so this is the most exciting trip I’ve ever taken. When Spice first arrived in Ghana, she exclaimed, “Stonebwoy, you really did a big one.”
Spice, on the other hand, is most recognized for her aggressive approach, diverse musical taste, and candid lyrics in dancehall music.
She became well-known after playing at Jamaica’s yearly Sting festival in 2000. Her official debut in the Jamaican music industry was marked by the release of her first single, “Complain,” in 2003.
Following her debut, Spice released hits like “Right There” and “Hype,” and her hard work and dedication led to collaborations with well-known artists like Jimmy Cliff in 2004 and Beenie Man in 2006.
Since then, Spice has made a name for herself in the music industry and claimed to be the “Queen of Dancehall.”
