Another instruction change frame by the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, and National Council for Curriculum Assessment have arisen via social media.
Per the report, all understudies in JHS 1 – SHS 1 will run a Common Core Program (CCP), which contains 9 subjects; specifically – Maths, Languages, Science, RME (independent subject), Physical and Health Education (not examinable), Career Technology, Social Studies, Computing, and Creative Arts and Design.
The following is a post on the new educational program.
Responding to this, Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru, Kennedy Nyarko Osei, in a Facebook post, said he had been educated that the GES is now executing the strategy.
“I am told this policy is already being implemented by the GES. How do we ensure effective implementation and a system to address all bottlenecks and initial challenges? The Educationists can help us here,” he said.
In the interim, the Education Ministry is yet to put out an authority announcement on this.
