Sam George Commends Ursula Owusu
Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George has today commended the work of the minister for communication honorable Ursula Owusu for her new initiative to lessen and ease communication for people living in Nkwadum in the Sefwi Akontonbra constituency.
He beautifully wrote this on his official Facebook wall: So I am excited that we are finally seeing the commissioning of some of these rural telephony sites. It is a great step in ensuring universal access in the country.
I only hope the minister checked how many people in the community have a Ghana Card to enable them to register their soon-to-be-acquired or already acquired sim cards.
Or after celebrating the inauguration of the site, she would deactivate their sim because the nearest NIA office may be some vast miles away?
Policy coherence is an integral part of policy formulation and implementation and must be taken seriously in Ghana if we want things to move on well.
