Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician from Ghana, appears to have swallowed his pride and ego in order to ask for assistance with his music career.
Shatta Wale has finally acknowledged that he needs to work with a record label in order to advance his career to probably the next level. This comes after several years of being an independent artist following his fallout with former record label, Zylofon Music owned by Nana Appiah Mensah. He also boasted of being the most successful artist without a recognized and resourced record label.
The singer of the hit song “On God” recently tweeted that in order for Ghanaian music stakeholders to have a successful music career and industry, they need quit fighting or confronting their Nigerian counterparts.
