In order to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 presidential elections, Diana Asamoah has stated her intention to team up with whoever prevails in the primary contest.
The gospel singer, who also happens to be an ardent NPP fan, has declared her desire to be the front-runner for the NPP presidential position.
On Saturday, February 25, she announced her plans at the most recent episode of United Showbiz, an entertainment program on UTV.
Meanwhile, contenders including Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Dr. Afriyie Owusu Akoto, Boakye Agyarko, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Francis Addai Nimoh, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, and Kennedy Agyapong have expressed their intention to run for the NPP’s flagbearership.
Similar to this, Diana Asamoah recently made headlines when she blasted Nana Agradaa aka Mama Pat for making derogatory comments about Christian Atsu’s demise.
According to Diana Asamoah, Nana Agradaa should have perished instead of Atsu since she is a depraved idolater.
Her comment comes after Agradaa passed unsavoury comments about Atsu while ascribing the reason why he died which he claimed had nothing to do with the earthquake.
