Mrs. Esther Asiedu, a versatile gospel artist also known as Piesie Esther in the entertainment sector, has made a startling admission.
Amansan Krakye, a correspondent for MyNewsGh.com, heard her on Kumasi’s Hello FM recounting her desire to give up music.
Piesie Esther recalled, “I do always remember that I have really hurt previously, I have sobbed before, and it got to a period that I was considering ending my music profession.”
The singer of “Waye Me Yie” claims that her lack of formal education is the only thing keeping her from ending her music career immediately.
But as she admitted, “I also wondered and asked myself what I will be doing if I stop playing music. I was considering of ending my music career abruptly.
“Because I didn’t get the opportunity to get formal education to a certain level that I can use to say that I’m going to find a white colour job to do,” she added.
