Popular actress converts to Islam as she shares new name [VIDEO]

Mercy Aigbe, a well-known actress in Nollywood, has revealed that she has converted to Islam, the religion of her husband Kazim Adeoti.

During an interview at a Ramadan lecture and special prayers that she and her husband hosted, the thespian, who had previously stated that she and her husband were participating in the fast, made this admission.

The mother of two revealed her new name and Islam conversion during the interview.

“Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti, insha Allah, is my new name. Mercy said, “Meenah with the H.”

In July 2022, Leniency Aigbe had uncovered that she was thinking about changing over completely to Islam while she spouted over her new method of dressing.

In an Instagram post on Monday, July 4, the mother of two, who recently wed Muslim movie producer Adekaz, made this disclosure.

She claims that she likes her new way of dressing and might eventually decide to become an Alhaja.

She went on to say that what matters most is that we all serve the same God.

As would be natural for her,

“Let me not lie, I am enjoying this new Hajia looks😄 😍 I might just become an Alhaja for real, the thing is sweeting me 😂😂😂 but o ma le di e jare! At the end we serve one God 😍❤️🙏🙏”
