A video featuring Ghanaian socialite Hajia Bintu advocating ‘Kayamata,’ a purported “Juju” product for women to seduce men, went viral on the Internet in the early hours of today.
Hajia Bintu received harsh criticism from online users and others over her video, with many claiming that it misled her followers, especially the young.
In order to punish her for the act, renowned Ghanaian comedy singer Archipalago even made a now-viral video for her.
A well-known media figure from Ghana named Vim Lady has also lent her voice.
The IGP of the Ghana Police has been informed by Vim Lady, who has also given the security forces the order to “protect our cyberspace and our values.”
“Removing the Hajia Bintu video, but the Ministry of Communications, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Ghana Police must protect our cyberspace and our values,” read her post.
She also left a caption that read, “IGP, We need action from the anti-cybercrime unit now.”
