A journalist who works for Adom TV has received harsh criticism on social media for approaching Christian Atsu’s son at the funeral and asking a question.
One of the player’s sons was asked by the journalist how it affected him to lose his father at such a young age.
The journalist asked the question as Christian Atsu’s wife and children were making their way to the State House’s courtyard for the funeral.
He didn’t respond, but he was giggling as he was led to his seat next to several members of his mother’s family.
I think it was inappropriate to quiz a young youngster like that at his own father’s burial. Author Marie-Claire Rupio, with whom Christian Atsu was married, gave birth to two sons and a daughter.
