On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the BET Hip Hop Honors 2022 were hosted in Atlanta, where a number of eminent performers made their mark by announcing the winners of the prestigious awards.
With 6 prizes, Kendrick Lamar was the big winner and show-stopper at the 16th annual awards ceremony last night. Tems, a singer from Nigeria, also received recognition for “Best Song Of The Year” for the song “Wait for you,” which she co-wrote with Drake and Future.
Black Sherif, a gifted musician from Ghana who won his first nomination after entering the music industry in 2019, lost to French musician Benjamin Epps in the category for Best International Flow.
