Church of Pentecost builds a police station for the chiefs and the people of Abrem Agona (+Audio)

The chiefs and the inhabitants of Abrem Agona in the Abrem Traditional Council of the Komenda, Edina, Eguafo Abrem (K.E.E.A) District in the central Region had an important need met as the Church of Pentecost of Abrem Agona and the Cape Coast Area donated a Police Station built by the Church to the Abrem Traditional Council and The Ghana Police Service.

Amongst the Dignitaries at the handing over ceremony was the Central Regional Police COP Abaiba Twumasi.
She had this to say.

The Assembly member of the Woara Kese Electoral area of Abrem Agona Hon .Emmanuel Amoaful Could not hide his happiness after the Church handed over the facility to the Community.

The police station is very important to the people of Abrem And Eguafo Traditional Areas in the Central Region and Ekutuase,Dwenase, Atobiase, amongst other communities in the Wassa East District of the Western Region.

It has separate cells each with toilet and bath for male and female.

CID’s Office
Orderly’s Office
Armoury and other important offices that will ensure smooth running of the station in order to bring peace to the poeple.

When asked for why the Church of Pentecost has shown interest in building police stations, the Cape Coast Area Head and a member of the Executive Council of the Church of Pentecost Worldwide, Apostle Samuel Yaw Antwi gave the reason and promised to support the community to put up a befitting accommodation for 10 police officers stationed at the Abrem Agona Police Station.
