I Will Distooled Any Of My Chiefs Involved In Illegal Chain Saw Operations.
The Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II has cautioned his sub chiefs never to engage in illegal lumbering or chain saw operations in the Dormaa municipality.
He warned that any chief involved in that will be destooled.
The Dormaa Hene who is also the president of the Bono Regional house of chief said all Ghanaians must protect our natural resources and he bemoaned how our forest is being destroyed .
Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Agyemang Badu II said the forest must be there for life, saying we all came and met the forest and there is the need to reserve our forest for our next generations. The Dormaa Hene was saddened of what he saw at mpamso forest reserve.
He appealed to forestry officers, the security officers, to make sure they prosecute anyone who is involved in illegal lumbering without any fear of favour.
