Ghanaians have been asked to make unauthorized power connections by political activist Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, if Electricity Company Of Ghana (ECG) continue to fail to provide power to its customers.
This happened after ECG had technical issues that kept customers from making prepaid purchases for several days.
In a video posted to social media, A Plus firmly asserted that Ghanaians should establish unauthorized connections if ECG is unable to provide power. A Plus claimed that many people are operating cold stores and losing money because they lack the necessary prepaid credit.
