In this now-viral video clip, Twinamatsiko Nelson, the station manager of 91.5 Megahertz Kanungu FM, is seen viciously beating up an employee named Tumuramye Anita over a business commission. She presented a gig and requested the agreed-upon UGX 12k commission.
The current manager, Mr. Twinamatsiko Nelson, and Tumuramye Anita, also known as Anita Rose, got into a heated argument when a firm came in and they all claimed it in terms of the commission.
Anita Rose was the station receptionist and cashier prior to the aforementioned Nelson being appointed as the station manager. Twinamatsiko Nelson, however, dismissed her, claiming the positions of cashier, receptionist, radio presenter, and station manager.
Anita Rose was prevented from hosting a few of her station’s programs following the altercation.
A short distance from the Kanungu town council along the lengthy Kanungu-Rugyeyo Road, the Kanungu FM radio station is owned by Hon. Chris Baryomunsi, the member of parliament for Kinkizi County East, and the minister of information technology and national guidance.
Sarah Birymumaisho, a well-known media persona, has commented on the incident; see below:
