Alhaji Muhammad Sabo, a 95-year-old Muslim from Nigeria, married a teen girl who was reportedly 14 years old.
On May 5, 2023, Fatiha got married at Dogon Ruwa under Gawu in the Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Abuja.
When Ibraheem Sa’eedu released images of the wedding invitation and the couple and reassured netizens that it was real, many people were first skeptical about the news.

In addition to posting images of the couple online, one Hussaini Duma Jagaba also disclosed that the groom had said he doesn’t mind if others criticize their union because he and his new wife love one another.
“As I witnessed this wedding I pray may God save the marriage. 14 year and 95 years. For the interview we made with the old man yesterday after the wedding fatiha, he said whatever people said he don’t care about that because they love each other some people may think they force her or she married him because of money, people should stop thinking negative about there marriage,” he wrote.
