All resident students have received a warning from UPSA Hostels management not to play video games in the dorms.
Any video gaming system discovered in a hostel room would be confiscated, according to a statement, as they are not allowed there.
According to the notice dated March 30, 2023, this instruction would become effective on April 3, 2023.
Management learned that some resident students had brought the forbidden items to the hostel a few weeks prior.
The memo was extensively shared on social media, which sparked a range of responses from online users, many of whom opposed the school’s choice.
Some have claimed that even if the students are mature enough to handle their own affairs, high schools nevertheless treat them like impressionable youngsters who require supervision.
