Baba Rahman, a 26-year-old high school graduate from Ghana, has made known the staggering sum of money he brings in each month through selling coconuts.
He asserted that he earns around GHC 7,000 per month, which is unquestionably more than many Ghanaians who wear suits and work in opulent offices.
This young man revealed this during an interview with AMBASSADOR TV that was posted on the well-known video-sharing website, YouTube.
A question about whether this young man, who seemed to be enjoying his coconut business, would consider working in an office for GHC 1,000 or GHC 2,000 was posed to him during the interview.
In his reply, he boldly indicated that he would never make such a mistake adding that at the end of each month, he claimed that no office job in Ghana could pay him more than GHC 10,000, but his coconut business gave him more than GHC 7,000.
In his submission, he said;
“Sometimes I can sell 200 pieces of coconuts in a day and even if I sell it GH¢4 I will get GH¢800 just a day. I can make profit of G¢300 within a day so within a month I can make not less than GH¢7,000 from my coconut business.”
