He is the right one for me! Those were the words uttered by a 50-year-old Date Rush contestant Nana Abena with five grown up children from USA as she poured praises on her 28-year-old date on the show.
In an Interview she said “He was the right one for me. I’m not in love with him yet, but he’s a good guy, and we’re off to a great start. He has even met two of my children. At the barest minimum, we will be friends, but I’m very interested in Stephen,”
Amidst raised eyebrows and skepticism from other contestants on the show, this duo seemed to hit it off almost instantly. Age might be just a number for some, and for these two, it was a non-issue.
Their undeniable chemistry and compatibility spoke louder than what society dictates. It’s inspiring to see people from different age groups find solace and happiness in each other’s company, especially in our world today, where ageism seems to be rampant.

Stephen, on the other side, expressed his interest in Nana Abena, even if their friendship does not develop into a romantic one.
“Only time will tell if I really feel this way about her or if it’s just a feeling I have.
I want to maintain her as a friend for a very long time, even if we don’t end up dating,” Stephen remarked.
The couple added that although they haven’t started dating yet, they are both very optimistic about their future. She has not yet met Stephen’s family.
