As part Of expensing his business, Mr Mahama has decided to venture in the manufacturing of cement which is an important ingredient in construction. Well after close to 4 years of construction, Dzata Cement which is located on the Tema Habour Road opposite APM terminals is set to go into full force commercial production.
The news has been naming rounds on social media with people expressing joy that as a fully owned Ghanaian company, it will help to break the monopoly of the big boys in the industry like Ghacem and Dangote.
What is refreshing about the entering of Dzata Cement is that it is romoured the price for a bag is pegged at 30 cedis which is a lanky half of what Almost all cements are selling currently in the country.
Former senior minister Yaw Osafo Maafo and Trade Minister Alan Kyeremanten have all toured the factory edging Ghanaians on to buy from Dzata Cement.
