The well-known YouTuber says he sent several messages to YouTube to inform them of what was going on, but he did not comment on the situation while his channel was offline.

Within just 48 hours, YouTube announced that the channel had been fully restored.

In his most recent video, Wode Maya thanked his fans and strategic YouTube partners for their support. He also said that the hackers were able to take over his Gmail account by getting around the two-step authentication process.
