On Valentine’s Day, a young Nigerian man was served a hot breakfast after publicly going on his knees to propose love to his Lady.
According to a TikTok video, the incident occurred on the campus of Babcock University in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State (Nigeria).
The amusing yet heartbreaking video showed the man on one knee in front of the lady, holding out a ring in his outstretched hand, asking her to marry him.
Initially, the guy was expecting his girlfriend to say “YES” as the crowd roared but unfortunately, the lady refused blatantly and proceeded to mock and embarrass him in the process.
As the lady in the video states unequivocally, she will not agree to marry the young man because he is not attractive and also not financially secure, making him a man she despises despite the fact that they are dating.
She snatched the ring from him and threw it at him, scattering the package he had brought her in a box.
The lady’s unexpected actions enraged the assembled crowd. Many internet users, however, believe the video was staged and have taken to the comments section to express their thoughts.
