Black Sherif gets another BET nomination for ‘Best International Flow Award’

Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif, real name Mohammed Ismail Sheriff, has been nominated for a second BET award.

At the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards, Black Sherif has been nominated in the Best International Flow category.

For the prize, Black Sherif will go up against nine other rappers. Three of his rivals are African: Sampa The Great from Zimbabwe, Aka and K.O from South Africa.

The other nominees are Major Rd (Brazil), Ninho (France), Tasha & Tracie (Brazil), Central Cee (UK), Gazo (France), and J Hus (UK).

The show will be filmed on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in Atlanta.

Black Sherif received his first nomination for the ‘Best International Flow’ Award last year, but Benjamin Epps won it.

He shared the ‘Best International Flow’ nomination at the 2022 edition of the illustrious awards program with Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil).

In keeping with BET’s pledge, “the telecast will salute 50 years of hip-hop with not-to-be-missed moments and performances.”
