Paul Afoko is still on indefinite suspension, he has not appealed – Freddie Blay

Paul Afoko

The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Freddie Blay has clarified that Mr Paul Afoko, a former national chairman still on an inconclusive suspension.

As indicated by him, Mr Afoko has not bid the choice of the gathering which was given over to him in December 2015.

There has been inquiries on what was befalling Mr Afoko’s suspension thinking about that the uncertain suspension forced on previous General Secretary of the gathering, Mr Kwabena Agyei Agyapong was lifted on Tuesday.

Yet, clarifying, Mr Blay said on account of Mr Agyepong, he claimed the suspension through a letter yet nothing of that sort has been gotten from Mr Afoko.

Mr Afoko was chosen public director of the NPP in April 2014 and was suspended in October 2015 over acts the gathering said were unfriendly to its political fortunes.

He was suspended along with the General Secretary of the party, Mr Kwabena Agyepong and Second Vice Chairperson, Mr Sammy Crabbe.
