The PSV fan attacked Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic.
The 20-year-old supporter invaded the field late in the game and punched the goalkeeper in the face, according to earlier reports.
After the punch, Dmitrovic, who didn’t get hurt, wrestled the pitch invader to the ground before the stewards kicked him out.
Sevilla advanced to the tournament’s last-16 with a 3-2 aggregate victory over PSV in the Europa League knockout play-off tie.
It was discovered that the pitch invader had already been banned by the Dutch Football Association (KNVB) after he was apprehended. On the night of the incident, he used a friend’s ticket to enter Phillips Stadium.
