Afua Asantewaa reveals in a recent interview why she wished Kuami Eugene didn’t show up to support her.
Afua Asantewaa revealed in a recent interview that Kuami Eugene is her celebrity crush.
In an interview with Joy Prime, she stated as much and gave an explanation for why, during her singathon, she sang the majority of Kuami Eugene’s songs.

Afua Asantewaa said that because she is so fond of Kuami Eugene, she got caught up with the Rockstar’s visit during her singathon performance at the Akwaaba village and suddenly forgot the songs she was singing.
“I said that guy came and I could not remember my lyrics. “This guy has worried me,” I remarked. She informed the host, IB, “If Guinness people don’t give me the record, it’s Kuami Eugene.”
She continued by saying that her husband is aware of her crush on Kuami Eugene.

“My husband is aware. I told him, “Kuami, you have worried me,” when he arrived. You weren’t supposed to come. Asuoden is the song I sang, and you know his rap follows. I did everything I didn’t remember while I stood there,” she continued.
Afua Asantewaa began singing at midnight on December 24, 2023, and completed five days of singing at the Akwaaba community. She is currently awaiting confirmation of her record.
