Why You Should Fry Pies Once In A While — Check Out Ingredients, Recipe And Video

If you have ever been fond of pies, you should be aware that there are different ways to get it ready, like frying!

Fried pies have become a substitute for those who don’t have ovens and for those who want to mass-produce for family use only.

Ingredients :

— flour

— melted butter

— water

— salt

— grinded garlic

— 1 pound of minced meat

— powdered pepper

— curry

— nutmeg powder

— dry grinded sesame

— rosemary seeds

— chopped white onions

— any leafy green (chopped or diced)

Recipe :

Making The Dough For Both Fried Pies And Fried Bread Rolls :

1. Pour some flour into a wide bowl.

2. Add 2 teaspoons of salt and melted butter to the flour.

3. Add enough water, mix and knead until smooth.

4. Smear a little melted butter on the top of the dough and cover the bowl with a transparent wrap.

5. Leave dough to rise for 10-15 minutes.

6. When those minutes elapse, check dough to see if moist enough, and divide into smaller portions.

7. For fried bread rolls, apply flour unto the surface, before flattening each piece of dough.

8. Rub oil on the flat dough surface, roll both ends together, apply flour again till rounded.

9. Divide long roll into two short ones and fry.

10. For fried minced-meat pies, flatten some more dough portions.

11. Rub oil, and put some minced-meat Sauce in the middle.

12. Create a pie shape, dip into hot oil and fry.

Making The Minced-meat Sauce :

1. Pour some oil into a pan and heat up.

2. Add the grinded garlic, chopped onions and stir till soft.

3. Add the minced-meat, powdered pepper, nutmeg powder and all other spices and stir till thoroughly mixed.

4. Add the chopped spring onions, white onions and any green vegetable of your choice and stir again.

5. Leave to simmer for few minutes.

6. Add more greens, stir and simmer till fully cooked.
