Preceding Ejisu MP To Campaign Independently Regardless Of NPP Affiliations

Kwabena Owusu-Aduomi, the antecedent Member of Parliament for Ejisu electoral area, has taken a decision to campaign as an independent candidate in the upcoming elections in December.

This is as a result of what he refers to as indecisiveness of NPP leadership to solve crucial needs of the existing delegates album, which undermines party honesty and equality.

On Friday, April 12, 2024, Nana Osei Bonsu, the campaign aide for Mr. Aduomi, stated that the decision to stand solo was triggered by the inconsistencies of the National People’s Party realised during the Ejisu polling station elections.

These inconsistencies include an alleged special selection of individuals by the late John Kumah, and other regional executives of the NPP which were deemed unacceptable,and reeked of favouritsm.

Moreover, it is, also, said that Hon. Aduomi’s decision to contest independently describes his unflinching commitment towards upholding true democracy and transparency.

By refusing to participate in a flawed process for elections, Mr. Kwabena Owusu-Aduomi has disclosed that he is a man of honest principles and will always stand on the side of truth.
