The anus of certain individual members in Ghana who claimed to be genuinely called by the Almighty God, to do His ministerial work, had been exposed beyond description because of their unreliable and fictitious activities in the christiandom.
There is a list of Churches that willfully and generously donated towards the construction and completion of the national cathedral building project in Accra but certain members of the board of trustees who are spearheading the activities of the national cathedral building project with robust economic fundamentals, have failed to contribute with their resources to seeing the construction of the building but rather compelling the poor Ghanaian people working on the streets to pay for the successful completion of the project because it is God who said they should undertake such a project in His name without revealing or telling when and where God spoke to them about the initiation of the building in His Supreme and Sovereign Name.
The list of churches which contributed large quantum of resources towards the construction of the national cathedral building project, has gone viral without restrictions from the board of trustees overseeing the project, caught up the attention of many people who are keen to knowing the real Churches in the country that supported the construction works.
The shocking and expository part was when individuals thoroughly glanced and flipped through the list of churches, they were flabbergasted and bamboozled to their bone marrows as the names of certain two churches that are very prominent in the propagation of the gospel with their own founders as also being the board members of the trustees spearheading and supervising the ongoing construction of the national cathedral building project in the country which some people even kicked against citing financial difficulties with the reason that it is not the most appropriate juncture for such a luxurious project to be undertaken because Ghanaian youth are currently struggling to survive under this incumbent president and his appointees.
One of the founders of such conspicuous Churches, sensed danger ahead of him and tendered in his ultimate resignation from the board of trustees about three weeks ago because of his crafty nature so that others would not think he is presiding over the looting brigade association involving such religious leaders who have been accused and labeled as thieves who are diverting and pilfering the resources available for the construction of the national cathedral project.
Pastor Mensah Otabil, who is the founder of the International Central Gospel Church, ICGC, worldwide, recused himself from being plunged into total financial malfeasance as other members of the board were been accused, distanced himself from the board of trustees under bizarre and unexplained circumstances because it might be the case that he foresaw his own church that he solely facilitated the establishment of, did not contribute a dime so how come should he be a member of the board of trustees spearheading the activities of the national cathedral building project and it might be due to that, he took a bow from the board of trustees and since then, he completely ceased to be a member of the board arising the expungement of his name as a board member of trustees.
But pastor Mensah Otabil, has done so well that, as he knew from his deepest heart that his church did not contribute, it would not be in his best interest to seat on the money of other churches that contributed because he is such an individual who strongly upholds and believes the philosophy which says that, ” No contribution, no chop”.
Another dominant and notable church in Ghana that has sprung up centres and branches at almost every part and parcel of Ghana, is surprisingly missing on the list of churches that paid towards the building but the founder is sitting in the counsel of people who are the ones managing the affairs of other churches’ financial supports for a successful completion of the national cathedral project.
The name of Bishop Dag Hewards-Mills, who is the founder of Light House Churches, now Light House Group Of Churches, is inarguably missing conspicuously on the list of churches that had doled out their hearts for the support of the national cathedral building and yet, he is also seating down amongst others as a board member of trustees spearheading activities relating to happenings ongoing at the construction sites of the cathedral project.
Here, there are two major principles available that must be juxtaposed. One person resigned as a member of board of trustees because he felt it in his conscience that his church could not contribute therefore, he would not enjoy the meat though he had the wherewithal and not on ground that he was financially incapacitated but, the second person also knew that he did not contribute though he had the wherewithal and not that he was financially incapacitated, and yet, he is still enjoying the flesh of dried and withered bones that contributed through difficulties and excruciating moments.
And it is reasonable a thought to conclude plainly that, there are some people calling themselves men of God but they are rather men of material wealth and others who call themselves men of God, they are men of humanity who have the interest and the will of people at their hearts because, they have human conscience that teaches them day and night to make sure the right appropriate thing is done without prejudice. Congratulations to the founder of: International Central Gospel Church, ICGC, Dr. Pastor Mensah Otabil, for taking the noble decision.
