The Electricity Company Of Ghana, the ECG, has given a stern warning to the Finance Ministry and the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) over their huge colossal indebtedness to the power distributor amounting to the marginalised tune of over: four hundred and twenty thousand cedis only.
The company has served both the above public institutions a reminder to settle down the debts owned the power distributor so as to avoid any action that the company may intend to take against to forestall any embarrassment.
But other people have expressed their views that, how come such significant institutions of state are owing the ECG that unprecedented sum of money and yet still, the managers are lackadaisical in their areas of management.
We are waiting patiently to see what pans out when the ECG finally takes further actions against the institutions owed it to that vast amount. We will keep you updated in case of any other development.
