A heartwarming story of compassion and bravery emerged in Enugu State last year, when a young man came to the rescue of a helpless baby left abandoned on the streets of Agbani.
The heroic act of Ben Kingsley Nwashara was shared on Twitter, where people were quick to praise his actions. “I stumbled upon a two-year-old baby by the roadside in Agbani, Enugu State. The child’s mother was a mentally unstable woman who lived at Eke Agbani,” he recounted.
Without hesitation, Nwashara took the baby to the police station, where they were advised to clean her up and return with her the next day. Today, a year later, the baby has undergone a remarkable transformation, thanks to the kindness of strangers and the good-hearted actions of Nwashara.
A year after the rescue, the baby that was plucked from the jaws of death has shown remarkable growth and resilience, thanks to the loving care of a benevolent samaritan. The little girl, who is now three years old, is a living testament to the power of kindness and compassion.
In a heartwarming post, Kingsley, the Good samaritan, shared a photo of himself with the well-fed, happy toddler, as her birthday approaches.
He humbly quipped, “I am in charge of the birthday celebrations, and I will also be getting her a present š ššš. Her birthday is on Saturday, 17th, and I cannot wait to celebrate another milestone with this precious child.”
Kingsley’s unwavering devotion to the welfare of this little girl is a touching reminder that there’s hope for humanity, even in the darkest of situations.
